Überwiegend wurde die Synthese der Gemischten Alkohole selbst und Seitenreaktionen (z.B. Mercaptan-Bildung) untersucht. Des Weiteren wurde Forschungs- und Entwicklungsarbeit im Bereich des Methanol-Recycling und Gas-Recycling betrieben, sowie eine theoretische Studie über die Weiterverarbeitung der Gemischten Alkohole zu Kohlenwasserstoffe ausgearbeitet.</p> <p>Das Ziel dieses Projekts ist es, notwenige Informationen für einen Upscale-Schritt der Gemischten Alkoholsynthese in den Pilotmaßstab zu generieren. Dies umfasst folgende Arbeiten:</p> <p>• Design der Versuchsanlage im Pilotmaßstab. Definition der Prozessschritte, sowie detaillierte Massen- und Energiebilanz.</p> <p>• Demonstration der Langzeitstabilität. Durchführung eines Langzeitversuchs an der Versuchsanlage im Labormaßstab.</p> <p>• Demonstration im Pilotmaßstab. Aufbau und Betrieb einer Versuchsanlage im Pilotmaßstab am Standort des Projektpartners West Biofuels (Kalifornien, USA) um die Gemischte Alkoholsynthese im Pilotmaßstab auf Basis von hölzernen Biomasserückständen zu demonstrieren.</p> <p>• Implementierung einer modellbasierten Regelungstechnikstrategie um eine präzisere Temperaturführung des Reaktors der Gemischten Alkohol Synthese zu ermöglichen.</p> ', 'content_en' => '<p>In BIOENERGY 2020+ research and development on the synthesis of mixed alcohols is done since 2010. Within the past projects a lab-scale plant was built and operated, where about 1 Nm³/h of synthesis gas was processed. The main investigations were research and development on the mixed alcohols synthesis (MAS) itself and on side reactions, e.g. formation of mercaptans. Also research and development on recycle of methanol to increase the amount of ethanol and recycle of tail-gas was started. Mixed Alcohols from Biomass Steam Gasification III
BIOENERGY 2020+ betreibt seit 2010 Forschung und Entwicklung im Bereich der Gemischten Alkoholsynthese. In den vorangegangenen Projekten wurde eine Versuchsanlage im Labormaßstab, mit einer Kapazität von etwa 1 Nm3/h Synthesegas, aufgebaut und in Betrieb genommen. Überwiegend wurde die Synthese der Gemischten Alkohole selbst und Seitenreaktionen (z.B. Mercaptan-Bildung) untersucht. Des Weiteren wurde Forschungs- und Entwicklungsarbeit im Bereich des Methanol-Recycling und Gas-Recycling betrieben, sowie eine theoretische Studie über die Weiterverarbeitung der Gemischten Alkohole zu Kohlenwasserstoffe ausgearbeitet.
Das Ziel dieses Projekts ist es, notwenige Informationen für einen Upscale-Schritt der Gemischten Alkoholsynthese in den Pilotmaßstab zu generieren. Dies umfasst folgende Arbeiten:
• Design der Versuchsanlage im Pilotmaßstab. Definition der Prozessschritte, sowie detaillierte Massen- und Energiebilanz.
• Demonstration der Langzeitstabilität. Durchführung eines Langzeitversuchs an der Versuchsanlage im Labormaßstab.
• Demonstration im Pilotmaßstab. Aufbau und Betrieb einer Versuchsanlage im Pilotmaßstab am Standort des Projektpartners West Biofuels (Kalifornien, USA) um die Gemischte Alkoholsynthese im Pilotmaßstab auf Basis von hölzernen Biomasserückständen zu demonstrieren.
• Implementierung einer modellbasierten Regelungstechnikstrategie um eine präzisere Temperaturführung des Reaktors der Gemischten Alkohol Synthese zu ermöglichen.
