BIOENERGY 2020+ worked on the process chains for local production of Jatropha oil. In cooperation with FJ-BLT the quality of the oil and the suitability for biodiesel production was tested. The experience and results of this work contributed to the Policy Brief Number 3 - Can jatropha improve the energy supply of rural households in Africa?
